Recently, I came across an article about a successful duo who ventured into the gaming business and giving back by counselling sick and fulfilling children’s wishes at KK Women and Children’s Hospital. It touched me that these two young bosses of St Games struggled through a seven-year roller-coaster ride to build passion as a career and contributing back to society to better the lives of the sick.
It’s something really commendable how they grow their business idea to the point of working with gaming giants like EA Games, Bandai Namco. Even when they were doing so well, they did not forget about people in our society who needs to be cared for.
I am going to share an inconvenient truth which a number of people will find it uncomfortable. Not because you’re posting selfie (or wefie) on Instagram but you’re too conscious about how you look and what others think about you.
That’s right, many of us simply want to present others only the positive side of ourselves. Such as finding the perfect camera angle to look slim and editing our selfies with Photoshop before posting them up on social media. Let’s be honest, how many of you are guilty of that?
The tagline of my blog is “Experience Life to the Fullest” and one way to truly experience it is by “doing life” together with friends, family and loved ones. Last week, I had a stay-over with some of the Team Awesome leaders from DARE ministry (secondary school youth ministry of New Creation Church) and we had a memorable, fun-filled time cooking, singing and playing games together! 😀
Thought of the Day
It is always so much joy spending time with awesome friends and the night ended with me pondering on the topic of treasuring our loved ones before it is too late. Often, we are so busy with our life and we tend to be so stingy with positive words when it comes to appreciating people around. Shall we begin by telling them how much they mean to us? Praising them with words which are true to your heart. Isn’t it too late when our loved ones has left us then we start reading out the eulogy at a memorial service?
Seems like I was away for quite a long sabbatical in a blink of an eye. It has been more than a year and I am back to the digital world, blogging!
Looking back at my posts dating back from March 2010, I am very grateful of people whom I have met along the way, companies whom I have worked with. Now that I am back in the scene, I wish to share so much more of my life to be a blessing to others, exciting things you can do in and outside of Singapore, fascinating places to visit and of course, delicious food along the way! 😛

How many times are we are not able to make it home in time for dinner due to other commitments? Either that or we may be out on a weekend for a family outing but we are working on our mobile devices most of the time. Have we forgotten about our family values and priorities as we place too much emphasis on other commitments?
