WMF, Chef’s Cooking Equipments for the Modern Metropolitans

Being a foodie I am, whipping up mouth-watering dishes is one of my favourite past time.  From preparation to cooking, without any quality kitchen equipments, one could feel frustrated with the joy and love for cooking being diminished.

I was at the recent WMF media lunch where I got to have my hands on the newly launched Chef’s Edition Performance Cut Knife series and Concento Cookware range. Chef Sawarto was also there to cook up a delicious 3-course German lunch.

Every true chef needs a quality

For the Concento Cookware range of pots, it is designed by an Italian industrial designer name Daniele Dalla Pellegrina.  Made in Germany using high quality Cromargan stainless steel 18/10, its eye-catching shape radiates the famous hint of sunlight which makes you hungry for Mediterranean cuisine.

I got my hands on the Chef’s Edition Performance Cut Knife series to prepare a fruit platter using slicing and dicing techniques and I was surprised by myself how sharp it was like as if I was playing “Fruit Ninja”.

Just a random thought, I was reminded of the verse in John 15:2 “He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.”

Although my team did not win the mini challenge, I was happy at the “Tropical Fruit Garden” I had created. Instead, the one above was the deserving winner.

It was an effortless breeze for Chef Sawarto as he prepared the ingredients. Slicing, dicing and chopping, all done in seconds!

Salt, pepper, sugar, spice and everything nice. Toss it into the silver Concento Cookware for a delicious and healthy meal.

Ta-dah! I was treated to a hearty traditional homecooked vegetable soup with German sausages and enjoyed it very much.  The sharp and precise square cuts prevent blemishes on the vegetables which will cause the loss of vitamins and nutrients during the cooking process.
