This whole new concept of a modern cafeteria not only serves up food but also employs the latest technology to boost their productivity. Read on to find out how this 400-seater cafeteria can be operated and run by a kitchen of less than 10 staffs.
Serving up a variety of local fare and Western delights from morning hours to late afternoon, you can get your coffee fix and fill your stomach with traditional breakfast sets before work. Look at the long queue on the official day of opening! Unlike the usual food court, diners order their food from the ordering counter and will be given a buzzer which will sound off to signal the food is ready for self-collection at the side counter.

The establishment is also partnering with South West CDC and Workforce Development Agency (WDA) to benefit the local community by re-employing mature workers living in the South West District . By providing social and customer service skills, handling food and technology, Food Glossary has already trained the first batch of employee working within a span of two months.
