Previously, I came out with my very own CalvinTimo’s Power-Up Smoothie Recipe which I love it a lot with the Tefal Blendforce Glass and this time round, I’m going to share a simple recipe you can prepare with this revolutionary blender equipped with the Tripl’Ax Blade Technology by Tefal!
This time round, I’m going to prepare pasta sauce with it as I love cooking pasta at home! One thing about pre-packed pasta sauces from supermarket is that they may be packed with preservatives and flavourings which are not natural and not healthy for consumption in a long run. Hence, read on as I share this simple recipe you can prepare whenever you cook your favourite spaghetti!
Ingredients for my CalvinTimo’s Antioxidizing Pasta Sauce (serves 3-4) includes:-
- 400 grams cherry tomatoes
- 1 medium size capsicum (cut into quarter)
- 100 grams shiitake mushrooms
- 6 cloves garlic, halved
- 1 onion, halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Ingredients when cooking my Musssels Fettuccine (serves 1) includes:-
- 100 grams spinach fettuccine (or any pasta of your choice)
- 4 Mussels
- 1 tablespoon white wine
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- a pinch of ground black pepper (optional)
Steps for CalvinTimo’s Antioxidizing Pasta Sauce:-
Place all of the ingredients needed for the sauce into the blender and blend it. Make sure you pulse a few times before blending at low speed.
I didn’t blend it for too long as I wanted some chunks of ingredients to be seen. The consistency of the sauce depends on your preference.
Steps for the Musssels Fettuccine are relatively simple.
First, cook the pasta al dente with a teaspoon of olive oil and set aside to drain. Next, pour about 1 cup of blended sauce into the saucepan and place the mussels on top of it. Then, drizzle the tablespoon of white wine and sugar over it and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes over low heat.
After so, add a dash of black pepper and it is ready to be served on top of your pasta!
There you go, CalvinTimo’s Antioxidizing Pasta Sauce on Mussels Fettuccine!
The sauce is rather different and taste more healthy compared to those off the shelves from the supermarket. The combination of garlic and onions makes it more pungent but hey, it is good for your health.
